Case:

Manufacturer of outdoor lights needed a solution for round surfaces, as the cable was entering the light pole from the side. They were initially using cable glands and Silicone in order to ensure water and dust resistance. 

Solution:

RUTASEAL in black EPDM.

The soft product follows the curved surface it is installed in while still offering IP67.  The customer insisted on having a product made of rubber as the products were going to be used in areas with a lot of direct sunlight.

Installation time saving of 70%, product cost saving of 20%.
